Miriam is Three!

It's hard to believe our little girl is already three!  To celebrate her special day we invited a few of her friends over for a tea party.

 She had asked for a Dora cake, but when we went to Michael's with our 40% off coupon, the Dora mold's were all gone so she picked out a castle instead and we made the castle from Dora's fairy tale adventure where Dora has to become a true princess to wake up sleeping Boots.

The girls had a lot of fun dressing up.

Even Luke and William got in on the dress-up fun.

William's Birthday

On March 19, 2011 St. Joseph's Day, my first born son turned 5 years old!  Wow - the years have passed by so quickly!  We celebrated a bit early since Grandma was visiting from Milwaukee. 




He asked for a lightning McQueen cake - he really likes that Lightning McQueen is a fast race car. The cake wasn't quite like the picture that came with our mold but William was happy with it :-)

For his birthday we got him his very own tent - he was so excited that he slept in it in his room for the first few nights.
